What general recommendations do you give your brides as they are making choices for their wedding day style?
One general recommendation I give all my brides is to rip out or print every style you see in a magazine or online that you like.  Then when you have several pictures, go back through them and see what each style has in common.  Once you have your dress, veil, and jewelry you can start to get an idea of what hairstyle will look best with them.   I also think it is very important to do a trial run.  When you go in for your trial, bring your veil and jewelry, wear makeup and bring the pictures you tore out so you and your stylist are both on the same page.

What are the most important tools of your trade that you take with you on wedding days?
It's hard for me to say which tools are most important to have with me!  I need them ALL!  I guess I would say curling iron, hairspray, teasing comb, bobby pins, and pony tail holders.  Also I couldn't possibly live without dry shampoo!

What are trends you have noticed in wedding hair styles?
I think the biggest trend with wedding hair right now is a soft romantic look; nothing harsh or severe.  I am doing a lot of "undone" up dos, and half up half down with loose waves.  Another trend that I love and is really big right now is to wear flowers or feathers in the hair.

What do you like most about doing hair for weddings?
The thing I love the most about doing hair for weddings is the energy that brides have on the day of their big day!  It is such a positive environment and you can't help but be happy when you are a part of such a wonderful celebration.  And what's better to celebrate than love?!
