Urbaniste clients Ashley and Mike were featured on the cover of TOPS Weddings for the 2011 issue!  Check out the four page spread of photos by Matt Malicote Photography on pages 87-90.  Working on the event design and day-of details was so much fun.  It was such a pleasure to work with Ashley and Mike!

Urbaniste is partnering with the Hilary J. Boone Center at the University of Kentucky and Twirl boutique to sponsor Wed Ed Kentucky.  Wed Ed Kentucky is a fun and festive educational event focused on helping brides with the wedding planning process.  Participants will get to interact and learn from a variety of wedding vendors in an intimate educational setting.  Brides and their guests will rotate in small groups through mini seminars focused on the various elements of planning including:  venues, cake, photography, florals, music, attire, make-up,  and details of the planning process in general.   The event will culminate with a fashion show and prize drawings.  Wed Ed Kentucky is being held on Sunday, February 20.  Registration begins at 1:00 and the event ends at 5:00.  Additional details and registration is available at www.wed-ed-ky.com.  Take advantage of early registration pricing now!

Urbaniste got a mention in the Derby 2010 Tops in Lex edition in the WOW Wedding feature.  Thanks to Jackie Lee of Every Last Detail for inviting me to assist her with this amazing wedding at CastlePost.  The couple, Heidi and Barrett, are some of the most thoughtful people I have worked with.  Check out the feature in the online edition -- pages 102-104.
